Matru Puja- the worship of the living Goddess

Matri Puja is one of unique programme of all the branches of Vivekananda Kendra, where students of Class X come with their mother on the last day of academic session of class X, before the AISSE final examination. Students offer puja to their mother as living worship of Goddess. They wash the feet of their mothers, chant Vedic mantras, offer flowers and perform puja of mothers. 
The programme was conducted by the teachers of Class X, puja was undertaken with guidance of SanchayitaDidi. Teacher JeetaDidi spoke about the importance of the day, mothers shared their view on this auspicious day. Programme came to an end with prasad distribution.

UTSARGA SAMAROH for Class XII

Vivekananda Kendra offers its Students at Class XII stage to the lotus feet of Bharat Mata every year after they complete their educational and academic tenure in the Organisation. Unlike, biding Farewell to the Students, Kendra termed this auspicious occasion as  'Utsarga Samaroh'. Our Vidyalaya observed this day on 3 February this year at 6.30 a.m. in the morning. Students attended by chanting Mantra from the Upanishadas, offered earthen lamp to the Rangoli of Bharatbasrsha, and promise to enlighten this holy land with their services in future. Principal Sri Gurucharan Das spoke to the students and guided them with valuable suggestions.  
They were served Alpahaar (breakfast) before they left for home.
