Madhabdev's Tirobhab Tithi observed

On 31 August, Vidyalaya observed the Tirobhab Tithi of Sri Sri Madhabdev, who was an ardent disciple of  Srimanta Sankardev, and also considered as one of the most significant spiritual leader of our State. Known for his Bargeets, Sri Sri Madhabdeb authored many other spiritual notes on Vaishnavism and enriched this land with his noble ideas and contribution. Kum Orienta Chetia(X) performed Sattriya dance, Kr Iman (VIII) sung bargeet, Khol performance by Aminesh and Dibyarup (XI) was spellbound. Teacher Kritashi Kasyap spoke about the importance of the day.

Vaccination Prgramme at Campus

on 28 August, Vaccination programme for Rubella and measles was conducted in our school campus. A total of 12 Health Workers and Asha Karmis Staff came to the Vidyalalya to vaccinate our children to save their life from this dreadful disease. a mere total of 893 students were covered under the scheme. Primary children were allowed to come with their parents and their regular classes were not held,

Raksha Bandhan - Uniting society

on 27 August (26 August original), Vidyalaya celebrated Raksha Bandhan, the festival of bond and unity in a grand manner. Children ties Rakhi or Raksha Sutra to the trees and domestic animals of the campus. Bharat Mata is also offered the sacred tie. After assembly all students were tied with Rakhi. Ayya, Bhaiya, Drivers and other staffs of the campus were tied with a raksha sutra. Group of Children in 14 buses visited different areas in and around Tinsukia and spread the message of the Raksha Bandhan to the general public and parents by offering a Rakhi and a card containing message of the Festival.

Man. Eknathji Punyatithi Observed

Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade's punyathithi (22 August) is observed on 23 August 2018, in the morning assembly of both primary and secondary sections. Speech by two teachers and one student was followed by a small skit depicting childhood of Eknathji was performed by the primary kids. 
A multimedia show of 15 minutes was displayed to the secondary students about the contribution of EknathJi in building Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari.

Freedom celebrated in Campus

The Vidyalaya celebrated 72nd Independence Day in the School Campus. Principal Sri Guru Charan Das hoisted the Tri-colored at 7:15 a.m. in the morning of 15 August.  There were some Kendra Karyakartas, teachers, Students (both day-scholars and hostlers ) and campus residents present in the programme. Mangalacharan, Patriotic song were sung by students of the Vidyalaya.  A short speech was delivered by the Principal and Sri Karkare Sir from VK, Arun Jyoti, about the significance of the day.

Teachers' Orientation Camp 2018


A 3-day long Teachers’ Orientation Camp was organized by Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar vibhag in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Laipuli Tinsukia from 1st to 3rd August 2018. Total 21 schools participated with 99 participants out of which 45 brothers and 54 sisters, along with the institutional heads .The true motto of this camp is to refresh ourselves with the new thoughts and ideas in the field of academic, organization and cultural dimensions. Many resource persons including Mananeeya Soumitra BorpuzariJi, Prant Saha Pramukh (VK) of Assam Prant, T.R.Jyotirlingam, Dr Pradip Sharma, Shristidhar Dutta, Tikendrajit Gogoi, Rabindra Godboleji to name a few. As normal course of action of  our every Shibir there was Bhajan Sandhya ,Boudhik Satra ,Pratahsmaran and Kendra Varga. On 1st of August we had Udghatan Samaroh where pujyapad Swami AchyuteshanandJi Maharaj was present along with additional Deputy Commissioner Sri P.K.Gogoi and adarniya Meera didi Prant Sangathak of Assam prant .
There was a “Activity based Science Learning Workshop” also conducted by resource persons from Jnana Probodhini Pune, for the Science teachers of our setup.
