On December 6, 2018,
A national Level Quiz Competition for the CBSE Schools of the country was organized by Delhi Doordarshan, the celebrating broadcasting industry of our country. The topic was “Meri Ganga Quiz”. A total of 24 Schools across the nation participated in the said competition, and among them 12 teams could qualify for the semi-final rounds. We are happy to let every concern know that two of our students viz, Gaurav Dutta and Priyankshu Borkataki of Class XI Science were participated and selected in the semi-final rounds.
Honourable Minster for Road Transport and Highways, Water Resources, River Development (Ganga Rejuvenation), Shri Nitin Gadkari, was present in the concluding programme as Chief Guest.
Maa Saradamoni Devi is the living inspiration of the present day women. She had shown the path of Universal tolerance and patience for the masses. Maa was remembered on her 166th Birth Anniversary in our school assembly on 22 December. Both Primary and Secondary Assembly observed Sarada Maa Jayanti. In primary assembly a skit was enacted to show the love of the holy mother for her devotees. Su. Ananya Didi spoke about the significance of the day. Secondary students sung bhajan about the glory of the Holy Mother.
