Purabi Lahon

Purabi Lahon, teacher of Computer Science has obtained her MBA in Human Resource Management in the year 2007-08 with a first class from Dibrugarh University.

Sailendra Mohan Das

Sailendra Mohan Das, teacher of science, attended Two UGC Sponsored National Seminar at Nagaon College and Guwahati University in year 2009 where he presented his research papers related to “Traditional Ethno Veterinary Medicines of Upper Assam”. He attended Two Environmental Awareness Programmes as a resource person in Bapapung Panbari High School, Digboi and Rupai High School, Doomdooma respectively. He was invited as resource person to attend a workshop on “Eco-Tourism” organised by the Forest Department (Tinsukia Wild Life Division, Govt. of Assam) on November 12^th 2009

Neeladeep Chakraborty

Neeladeep Chakraborty, teacher of Computer Science, has carved a niche for himself in the field of literature with the publication of his ‘JAO-PAKHI’-a collection  of  Bengali Poems in the year 2008.

He emerged as lyricist with his contribution in two Audio CDs ‘Rang Birang’ and ‘Abhimani Mon’ in which singing star Zubeen Garg also rendered his voice.

Sadhana Gurung, student of Class V, secured 1^st position in Slogan Writing Competition organised by Marwadi Yuva Manch in October 2009.

Ranbir Singh and Gaurav Das

Ranbir Singh and Gaurav Das, students of class XI(Sc.) represented the school in Inter VKV Mahabhaskara Shastra Vigyan Pradarshini held in V.K.V Baragolai in year 2009 with the project entitle “LED-the future light source”. This project of theirs was also under the banner of National Inauguration Foundation, Ahmedabad in Innovator’s Science Exhibition, organised by ASTEC (Assam Science Technological Environmental Council) on December 2009. Both of the students had met an opportunity for further experimentation on their project under the guidance of Sri Kanak Gogoi, National award for his innovative works.
