WORLD SANSKRIT DAY

WORLD SANSKRIT DAY 



World Sanskrit Day, " Viswa Sanskrit Diwas", was celebrated in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Laipuli, Tinsukia on 22 August 2021 with great enthusiasm on virtual mode.  Present on the occasion were the Principal, Shri Lakhinarayan Goswami,  the Vice Principal Shri Mati Meghna Kakoti and all the teachers of the School.

Dr. Ranjeet  Kumar Tiwary , a renowned scholar of Sanskrit and philosophy presently Associate Professor,
Department of Traditional Sanskrit,
Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University,
Namati, Nalbari, Assam was the chief guest for the event. 
The Principal Sir welcomed the chief guest and addressed the gathering of students of classes VI to V



The event began with "Mangalacharanam" followed by "Dheyaya Mantra". A Sanskrit song, a Ganesh Vandana dance, Speech on Importantance of Sanskrit Language by Class VIII students , Geeta Shloka Chanting by class VII Student and Subhashitani chanting  by class VI student were next.

The chief guest praised the school for balancing the modern and traditional ideas and shared his views on the role and importance of Sanskrit. Shmt. Archana Tiwari Sanskrit Teacher of the School  delivered the vote of thanks. The event was a treat for all Sanskrit enthusiasts.
The Programme was ended with Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana respectively.

OUR MEDICAL ALUMNUS



On 22 August 2021, Vivekananda Kendra Swastha Seva Sadan organised an Alumni Medicos meeting as a part of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade’s Punyatithi and Raksha Bandhan. 19 Doctors who were students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Laipuli, who are practicing now in Tinsukia and Dibrugarh were present in this meeting that started from 11 am. The programme started with Mangalacharan followed by song on Eknathji. In a self introductory session all Medicos introduced themselves and cherished the nostalgic days of their life in Vidyalaya. 


Dr Debasish Adhikari presented the workings of Vivekananda Kendra through Health care and medical facilities in a ppt show. He emphasised on the workings of the Swastha Seva Sadan since inception. Ma. Meera Kulkarni Didi, Prant Sangathak Assam Prant and Jeevan Vrati Karyakarta of VK appealed to the alumni to work and come forward to serve the mankind , while delivering her speech on the purpose of the day and also described how the Swastha Seva initiative was developed from couple of years as a part of Eknathiji’s vision. 


In an open session, Alumni medicos put forward their suggestions about how to develop and foster the growth of the VKSSS and how they will also contribute their services to the noble cause. 
The programme came to an end with Shanti path, Kendra Prarthana and Tea.

RAKSH BANDHAN CELEBRATIONS

RAKSHA BANDHAN



On account of Raksha Bandhan and Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade's Punyatithi VKV, Laipuli, Tinsukia organises a series of program from morning 9:00 a.m. Mananeeya Meera Kulkarni Didi, Prant Sangathak Assam Prant and Jeevan Vrati Karykarta of Vivekananda Kendra spoke about the importance of the day . Shri Kamala Kanta Baliyarsingha, Academic Coordinator of VKSPV also spoke on the day.  After that Raksha Sutras were tied among the teachers and other campus inmates.  Raksha Sutra was tied to Gow-Mata and the trees and others who were present in the campus.



Later from 11 am a meeting was organised in Vivekananda Kendra Swasthya Seva Sadan for the medico alumnus of VKV, Laipuli, Tinsukia. Many doctors of Tinsukia town attended the meeting and in a open session they gave many suggestions about the development of Swasthya Seva Sadan.  Sri Shashi Bhushan Goyal, Ram Gopal Ji, Shri Samiran Bose and alumni doctors like Dr Arnab Paul, Mandeep Barkataki, Dr Mriganka Madhav Mishra, Dr Nabanita and many other doctors attended the program and made it a grand success. Dr Debasish Adhikari did a presentation about the working of Medical and Health care unit of VKSSS. This get-together of alumni Doctors has brought a nostalgic atmosphere for all alumnis , teachers and others who were present there.



Our students went to Laipuli Army Camp to tie Raksha Sutras for the National Heros.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

The 75th Independance Day was celebrated in VKV Tinsukia and its units in VK PRE SCHOOL in Naupukhuri and Chabua. At 7.30 am the Tri-colour flag was hoisted by the  Principal Sri Lakhi Narayan Goswami. School NCC Team , students, teachers and some parents were present in the programme following appropriate Covid Protocol. Mananeeya PravinJi Davolkar , Adarneeya Meera Didi, Ma. Kamalakantji, Baliarsingha Sir graced the occassion with their presence.In this connection a cultural programme was organised where AayaDidis, Bhaiyas also performed song, recitation , dance etc withe students and teachers. 
In the presence of some nearby students and parents, well-wishers  in our Naupukhuri Unit and Chabua unit also the 75th Independence Day was celebrated with a small programme.

A new Shiva Temple was inaugurated at our Vidyalaya Campus by our respected Principal Sir on Monday 9 August 2021. It is situated in our bus parking area . One of its first kind to be inaugurated in our Vidyalaya, it is a small temple built under a tree.

INTERACTIVE SESSION

 A TALK WITH SRI SAURABH AGARWAL

An interactive session was held with our ex student Sri Saurabh Agarwal on 9th of August 2021 in online mode on Google Meet. Sourabh Agarwal presently working as a Scientific officer-F in Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) under Department of Atomic Energy. He done his schooling from VKV, Laipuli, Tinsukia and passed out his class XII in year 2000. Later he done his chemical Engineering from Assam Engineering College and M. Tech from Homi-Bhabha National institute (HBNI) in Nuclear Science and Engineering with Gold medal. 

The session started with singing of Manglacharan by one of our student from class 12. It was then followed by introductory speech from our respected Principal Sir and Neel sir. A patriotic song was sung by one of our student from class 11. The program was then followed by an interactive session by Sri Saurabh Agarwal with the students. The program came to a close with a vote of thanks by our respected Vice principal Didi and Shanti path by Nijora Didi.
