The Youth Olympic Games are for the world's young athletes aged from 15 to 18. Like the Olympic Games, they are held every four years, and are held in the same year as the Olympic Games with the Summer Youth Olympic Games taking place the same year as the Olympic Winter Games and vice-versa.
The objective of the Youth Olympic Games is to encourage young people around the world to practise sport; raise awareness of and encourage them to adopt the values of Olympiasm; and disseminate the message of the Olympic Movement around them.
A very proud moment for VKV Tinsukia as student Jyotika Gohain of class-10 section-c got 2nd position in Taekwondo ( Assam Youth Olympics 2022)

CATC-42 Camp was conducted from 11th of July to 20th of July 2022 at Learner's High School, Doomdoma organised by 10 Assam bn. NCC. 22 cadets from VKV Laipuli, Tinsukia participated in CATC-42 camp actively.
Achievement: our two cadets,
1) Tanveer kaur achived the best firer
2) Ayush Gupta achived the best debater.
Tanveer kaur is undergoing further training to represent the unit.

An interacting session was held on the Vidayalaya on 6th of July 2022. The session was taken by Dr.Vijay Tungar who is the incharge of Pathalogical Laboratory , Vivekananda Kendra Swasthya Seva Sandan,Tinsukia. The Higher Secondary students attended the session which was all about the topic of "Fitness For All ".
