The 78th Independence Day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya by hoisting the Tri-color flag in the rainy 15th August morning by the Principal Lakhinarayan Goswami at 7.15 am. The guard of honour was conducted by the NCC troupe of the Vidyalaya. Speech on the importance of the day, Songs by teachers, students and other activities were also performed in this connection. The programme was attended by Students, teachers, non-taching staffs, Campus inmates etc.
“HarGharTiranga” campaign and CBSE circular regarding the celebration with the them “VIKSHIT BHARAT” was taken into consideration and complied with by organising “Sit & Draw” competition, Clay modelling, Clay art( National Symbols), Colour me, Patriotic solo dance, poem recitation, Act and say ( Our unsung heros) among the different age group students.
