World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Laipuli on 5th June 2026. Students from both the Primary and Secondary Sections participated in various activities to spread awareness about environmental conservation.
The programme included songs, dramas, a herbal show, a Nukkad Natak, exhibitions of useful items made from waste materials, and an Environment Day oath. The Chief Guest, Shri Sailendra Mohan Das, spoke about the importance of biodiversity and the need to protect nature.
A plantation drive titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” was also organised. Parents, students, teachers, and members of the Eco Club actively participated by planting saplings in the school campus.
