Echoes of Devotion

On September 4, 2026, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Laipuli, Tinsukia, observed Janmashtami with a focus on devotion and cultural engagement. The proceedings commenced with a puja led by Panditji followed by sacred rituals performed by the Principal sir. The ceremony included an Aarti, in which both students and the Pandit participated, and a Yagya that contributed to a reflective atmosphere.

The students presented a series of performances highlighting the life and teachings of Lord Krishna. These included a Gau Seva demonstration by Class I students and a Bhajan by BV 3. Class II students performed the Dashavtar, illustrating the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The Krishna Leela presentations featured various narratives, such as the birth of Krishna, his childhood exploits, the Kaliya Daman, the lifting of Govardhan Parvat, and the friendship with Sudama. These Jhankis were accompanied by music and student commentary.

Teachers and students from all grade levels attended the event, which served as an educational experience regarding values like kindness, friendship, and righteousness. The celebration concluded in a peaceful manner, emphasizing a sense of community.
