In VKVs the last School day for outgoing students is followed with a spiritual and nationalistic approach. For Class XII students we observed Utsarga Samaroh from morning 7.00 a.m. on 1st February. Where with the Vedic Chanting students resolved to serve the nation after completion of their formal education. Earthen lamp was lighted for Bharatmata by the students at the end of the programme.
Offering prayers at the lotus feet of own mother is the ultimate Puja. With this idea Matri Puja for Class X students is organized every year in VKVs across the nation. On 1stFebruary, the Vidyalaya observed Matri Puja in the school premises. This year along with the mothers of the students, mothers from nearby villages were also invited to take part in the serene programme. After puja Prasad distribution was there.
