REPUBLIC DAY




The 72nd Republic Day is observed in all three units of VKV Laipuli, Tinsukia. In Vidyalaya the Tricolour flag was hoisted by Vice Principal Meghna Didi followed by patriotic song and recitation presentation by teachers. 



In VKV-PS, Chabua the flag hoisting was done by Sanchayita Didi and in Jyoti Nagar Unit the hoisting was done by Vandana Didi. In all units different programme like speech , song, recitation were performed. The programme ended with sweet distribution. In all three units the average attendance was 30, including teachers, parents and students.
 


A small group from school attended the grand celebration of Republic Day in Dist ITI Field to witness parade, cultural programme etc.

NETAJI JAYANTI





On 23 January 2021, Vidyalaya observed Netaji Jayanti with teachers and other staffs. Puspanjali was offered at Netaji's potrait. Song, recitation and lecture were delivered by teachers. Tug of war and walking race was conducted for all staffs. Govt of India declared this day as ParakramDivas from this year.

 SWAMI VIVEKANANDA JAYANTI








ON January 12, 2021, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Laipuli Tinsukia celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day. The programme was conducted in three places viz, The VKV Tinsukia Campus, VKV-Pre School in Chabua (B-Ward) and in VKV-Pre School Jyoti Nagar Naupukhuri Tinsukia. The Vidyalaya took the opportunity of this auspicious day to inaugurate the new two units of Pre-Schools in Chabua and Naupukhuri Tinsukia. 

The Programme at Main Campus:

 AT morning 8 am the Vidyalaya’a campus progrmme started with tri-omkar and mangalacharan, followed by the National Song Vande Mataram, sung by students and teachers. About Swami Vivekananda’s life and message Teacher NijoraDidi spoke, a recitation was presented by a secondary student Ankita Anwesha. Manaeeya KamalakantaJi, RAO and Academic Coordinator, VKSPV was present and gave his blessings for all students and teachers on this day. He urged and inspired all by emphasising on Swamiji’s philosophy of service to mankind. Secondary students in a group presented a song on SwamiJi. The programme concluded at 9 am and immediately the teachers and participant students were moved to VKV-Pre School inauguration programme which was scheduled from 10.30 am. A total of 150 people including students and teachers were present in the programme. 

The Programme at VKV-Pre School, Jyoti Nagar, Naupukhuri:

The unit of VKV Laipuli Tinsukia was all ready and bedecked with flowers, rangoli, Bharat Mata photoFrame, Eknathji and Swami Vivekananda’s standing posture photo. The Chief Guest of the programme was noted Social Worker and Cultural activist of the District Sri Manoranjan Sharma, who was welcomed by the Vidyalaya’s  Band team. After his arrival the programme started at 10.45 am. After the mangalacharan and lighting of the lamp, the National Song Vande Mataram was sung by the students, parents, guests and other dignitaries present there. All were welcomed formally with the welcome address delivered by Vandana Didi where she also informed about the purpose of the expansion of these two units of the Vidyalaya. Short after the programme started the MLA, Tinsukia District and Shrama Mantri Sri Sanjoy Keshan also arrived as Guest of Honour of the programme. While speaking to the audience, Sri SanjoyJi talked about the contribution of Swami Vivekananda and also asked all students and others to work on the path shown by Swamiji for the development of the society. He took pride in saying that in many places while attending some programme he came across the students of Vivekananda Kendra and could understand that they are students of VKV by their behaviour and positive attitude. After him the Chief Guest Sri Manoranjan Sharma spoke about the unbelievable contribution of Swami Vivekananda in short span of his life. He tried to inspire students and others to develop love for the motherland, Assam and India. He recited from Gurudev Tagore, Noted Assamese litterateur Ambikagiri Roy Choudhury and also presented his dramatics skill. Two secondary students recited an Assamese and a Hindi poem. A group song was presented by the students. Teacher TrishnaDidi spoke about the importance of the day. At the end vote of thanks was delivered by Teacher Neeladeep. The programme concluded with Shanti Mantra. An approximate total of 200 people were present in the programme. Some senior citizens from Jyoti Nagar area like Zila Parishad president JharnaJi, Ward member Suman Shah, President of Mahila Samity Menoka Taye, Kendra well-wishers Sri GopalJi, Nagar Sanchalak Sashi Bhushan Goyal, Sri SamiranJi, Sri Ajay Modi, the building owner of the Vidyalaya Subash Rai, Press reporter Krishna Upadhyay, Umesh Singh (Reporter, Purbanchal Prahari) were also present in the programme. The programme was concluded around 1 pm.      

The Programme at VKV-Pre School, Chabua:

The pragramme in Chabu Unit started at 9 am. The Guest of Honour Sri Pradaan Barouah, Hon. MP, was welcomed by our Band team followed by tilakam. Sri Pradan Boruah appreciated the idea of opening of the Pre-School in chabua and he wished for the future development of the school. He also shared his thought of helping our unit of chabua if needed. The Chief Guest Dr. Siddharth Sharma spoke on the life of Swami Vivekananda and his journey of service for the country. He also spoke on the importance of the curiosity of the tiny tots and the necessity of answering each and every question put by them. Sri Mridul rajkhuwa( member of BJP) was also present along with an approximate number of 50 parents with participants students and teachers.

KALPATARU DIVAS

KALPATARU DIVAS




Kalpataru Divas is celebrated in Vidyalaya campus on 1st January 2021. Students and teachers were present in the morning assembly and, following covid protocol, the day is observed. Students and teachers offered flower to the Lotus feet of Sri Ramakrishna, bhajans were sung and a lecture was delivered on the importance of the day to observe the utsav.
