The Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2023 was telecasted LIVE in our Vidyalaya's Yoga Vidya Sabhagriha for the students of Secondary/Sr.Sec. on 27 January at 11 am whose venue was at Talkotra Stadium New Delhi. The LIVE Telecast was arranged for viewing by members of IT Club. Honourable Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi helped students in clarifying their doubt about examination.

Republic day and Saraswati puja

On 26 January the 74th Republic Day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya. At 8.30 am the Tricolour flag was unfurled by Principal Sri Lakhinarayan Goswami. Primary students recited , sung and delivered speech on the theme of the Day. Vidyalaya's NCC Team leaded the Flag hosting & National Anthem.

Saraswati puja was also observed with Bhajan Session, Homa, Puspanjali and Prasadam Distribution. Many parents visited and attended both the Programme .

Workshop On Indian Culture

India has a very rich culture. It is world-renowned for its cultural heritage. while the youth is forgetting about this heritage, some organizations try to keep it alive by spreading awareness to the public. They carry out this process by holding workshops, camps, etc. Such a workshop was held from 18th to 22nd January 2023 and 10 teachers of vkv participated along with Ma.Bhanudas ji (All India General Secretary), Sri Kamalakanta Baliarsingha (RAO, Educational Coordinator VKSPV) and Sri Suvan Sett (Admin Coordinator, VKSPV).

Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated in our Vidyalaya this year in a grand manner. After COVID-strikened years, we could invite all our parents, wellwishers and students for the grand 3 Day long celebration. On January 7th we hosted the programme for VKV-Pre Schools of Naupukhuri- chabua unit, On 11 January it was for the Primary section, and on 12 January cultural program was kept for the Secondary & Sr.Sec section.

Chief Guests, Guest of Honour, and other distinguish Guests came to grace the occasion with a total number of approximately 1000 spectators for both days. Invited Guests were Hon'ble DC, Hon'ble SP, Respected DRM of TSk Division, ADC Susanta Dutta, all VMC Members etc.

A Splendid cultural show was showcased by the students. Be it Satriya, Bhurtal Nritya, Action Songs, Instrumental Display, Karate, Folk culture Dance, Yoga Display, Bhauna, One Act Play, Rabindra Ntriya, skit, etc everywhere a touch of hardwork, dedication, and excellence are seen.

Lt Dakhya Pd Lahakar Memorial Trophy was introduced for the Highest Scorer in Academics (VI to IX), in loving memory of Dakhya Pd Lahakar, a former VMC member & wellwisher of the Vidyalaya.
