Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV), Laipuli, Tinsukia participated in the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan under Govt of India by conducting an oath-taking ceremony during the morning assembly. The programme aimed to raise awareness among students about the ill effects of drug abuse and the importance of a drug-free society.
Students and teachers took a solemn pledge to stay away from drugs and to spread awareness among others. They also resolved to contribute actively towards making the nation drug-free.
The programme concluded with the message that change begins with oneself.
