Sri Hazarat Angiras Ambarishlal alias Mamaji, Jeevanvrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari has left for heavenly abode on 30 March 2026 living behind an illuminating life of a real Karmayogi to inspire Karyakartas to work with the twin ideal of Tyaga and Seva (Service and renunciation). His Educational Qualification was BA (Sanskrit & Prakrit) in 1959, MA (Sanskrit & Prakrit) in 1961. Joined Kendra on 10/06/1973. Posted as Librarian from 1973-1980. Then at Training Centre office/ Shibir Office from 1981 - 1994, then as Treasurer from 1986 -1995. From 1996 -till date he was in Kanyakumari( Training Centre office/ Shibir Office, Archieve Pramukh etc.
Our Vidyalaya offered Shraddhanjali to Mamaji on 1 April 2026 in the YogaVidya Sabhagriha, where teachers offered Pushpanjali and Reminiscing his memories.
