While most teenagers spend their weeks scrolling through feeds, the IT Club members at VKV Laipuli spent their last three days learning how to build them.
From July 9 to July 11, 2026, the school campus turned into a mini tech hub for an intensive 3-day IT workshop. To make the learning count, students were split into two hands-on tracks based on what they wanted to create:
Content Creation Track: Led by Vicky Kumar Sir, this group got behind the lens to learn the real mechanics of photography, camera handling, content writing, and video editing.
Website Development Track: Led by Neeldeep Chakraborty Sir, this track focused on the backend, teaching students how to build websites from scratch using Blogger, format live posts, and manage web layouts.
The energy peaked during the valedictory session. We were incredibly lucky to have Sri Gouri Sankar Das Bhuyan (Scientist B and District Informatics Officer at NIC Tinsukia) join us as Chief Guest to share his real-world industry insights. Ma. Rebati Didi (Jt. Gen. Secretary and RAO of VKSPV Guwahati) also attended to encourage the students, alongside our Principal, Ravi Savdeykar Sir, and Vice Principal, Meghna Kakoty Didi.
The workshop has officially wrapped up, but the work is just beginning. With a clear, expert-backed roadmap now in their hands, these IT club members have everything they need to transition from smart students to top-tier IT performers.
