On 6th June 2018, the Vidyalaya
hosted an hour long seminar on Animation and graphics technology where students
of Class IX, XI and XII were participated. The programme was conducted by MAAC,
Kolkata. MAAC Salt lake is an Animation, VFX and Multimedia training Institute
headed by a Board of Directors. Atanu Moitra, a Retd. Indian Naval Officer and
director of the institutions, delivered a presentation in the seminar. The
Institute has a team of Mentors and other departmental members who are called
the Squad. Suman Mondal is one of those Squad Members who is leading the 3D
Animation and Production Department at MAAC Salt lake, Kolkata. Both Mr Moitra
and Mondal was the resource persons in the seminar. Career and working of
Animation were shown and discussed the event. Total 200 students and 6/7
teachers were present in the programme.
