The programme was conducted by Department of Post India at A New High School. There were a total of 5 groups participated from 4 schools. Our school secured the 3rd position with 70 points. There were a total of 2 teams participated from A New High School and rest schools have 1 team. More than 170 to 200 audience were present there. The programme was conducted by members from the Postal Department of Dibrugarh, Tinsukia and Shillong. A lady from postal department of Shillong has shared her experience of different postal departments of India and had a huge collections of stamps right from before Independence to till now.
There were a total of 3 students from class VIII who representated our school in the quiz competition, they were:
