Under the Scheme of SADBHAVNA Project, on 8 January 2024, Digboi Battalion, 18th Garwal Rifle donated 5 Computer Sets, UPS, Tables, Ceiling Fans etc to establish a small Computer Lab in the Vidyalaya. Major Suraj Rai was present on this occasion and spoke to the audience as well as to the Board Exam aspirants.
He added, every problems in life to be faces and then a solution surely comes. In his talk with children he said, we must not work to get marks in exam but to be a wise and good man. The Vidyalaya playground was decorated attractively by the Army troop and refreshment was offered to all teachers and students present on the programme. Students showcased their talent through Sattriya Dance, Recitation, Group Song and the most attractive item of Shahid Kanaklata skit by the pre-school kids. At the end of the programme the Computers were handed over to Principal Sri Lakhinarayan Goswami. Along with teachers and students some VMC members & wellwishers were also present in the programme.
