Celebrating Asom Diwas: Honoring the Legacy of Chaolung Sukapha

On 2dec 2024,our school celebrated Asom Diwas with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was organized to commemorate the founding of the Ahom kingdom by Chaolung Sukapha in 1228. The celebration began with a speech delivered by Pulin Sir, one of our esteemed teachers. He spoke eloquently about the life and achievements of Sukapha, highlighting his bravery, wisdom, and vision.A video presentation was also shown, showcasing the history and cultures of the Ahom Kingdom. The video was engaging and informative, providing valuable insights into the life and times of Sukapha and Ahom people. give an interesting titile The next item on the agenda was a captivating dance performance by the students of Class 7. The dance was a beautiful representation of Ahom culture and traditions. A quiz competition was also held as part of the celebration, with questions related to Sukapha and Ahom Diwas.The Asom Diwas celebration came to a close with the singing of the state song. The event was a huge success, with students, teachers, and staff members all coming together to celebrate this important day in Assamese history.
