The auspicious day of Gita Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion. The program was divided into two phases.
First Phase: Geeta Path and Presentation
The day began with a Geeta path session, where students from classes I to V recited verses from the Bhagavad Gita. This was followed by a presentation on Gita Saar and the significance of the celebration.
Second Phase: Geeta Path Competition and Pariwar Sanmelen for the parents of Balvatika 2,3 and class 1
The second phase of the program commenced with the holy chanting of Omkara Sahnavavatu, followed by a welcome address by Principal Shree Ravindranath Savdeykarji. He emphasized the importance of celebrating Gita Jayanti.
Nilima didi then explained the significance of the day. and the significance of utsav celebrated by Vivekananda Kendra was explained by the anchor Laxmi didi. This was followed by a Geeta Path Competition, where parents participated with great enthusiasm.
The program also included a, "Khel," ( Mai,Pariwar Samaj ,Rashtra) which helped participants bond with each other. A group discussion was held, where five groups were given verses to interpret and present. Vandana didi summarized the discussions, relating the verses to daily life and family values.
As a token of love, "Gita for Daily Life" was distributed to all participants. The program concluded with Shanti path and Kendra prarthana.
