February 8, 2025, our Vidyalaya organized Matri Puja ceremony for Class X students and their mothers. The principal warmly welcomed all the mothers, and the ritual was performed following traditional Indian customs, including the poignant act of washing and worshiping the mothers' feet. For Class XII, Utsarga Samaroh was conducted where all students chanted the Vaidik Mantra and lightened an earthen pot at the feet of Bharat Mata, symbolising their dedication and offering for this holy land.
Sri Rupesh Singh ji and Bikash Upadhyay ji, two esteemed pujaris from VKV Dibrugarh, expertly guided the students through the rituals. Additionally, Jeetamoni Bordoloi, one of our teacher, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the profound influence mothers have on shaping their children's lives.
The ceremony was a beautiful tribute to the selfless love and dedication of mothers everywhere.
