On the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti, we observed a sacred celebration on 1st December 2025 wisdom of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. The programme commenced with a heartfelt welcome address, melodious bhajan, and Tilakam ritual, symbolizing spiritual awakening and purity of heart.
The students collectively chanted the 5th chapter, immersing themselves in the divine teachings. An inspirational video "Geeta Sar, Jeevan Ka Sar" was showcased, illuminating the relevance of Gita in everyday life. The celebration concluded with Shanti Mantra and National Anthem, invoking peace and harmony.
Students and teachers also participated in thought-provoking speeches, soul-stirring Gita chanting (Chapter 15 by Vandana Kumari), and a captivating video presentation on Geeta’s significance.
In Primary Section, the programme began with welcoming words by Swapna Didi, followed by Mangalacharan. A devotional bhajan, “Krishna Tumhari Geeta”, was presented by Nandini Didi along with the students. The Tilakam ritual added a spiritual touch to the occasion. A key highlight was the collective recitation of the 5th chapter of the Gita by Aparna Nag Didi and students. An inspirational video, “Geeta Sar, Jeevan Ka Sar”, was also shown. The programme concluded with the Shanti Path.
In Secondary Section , the celebration began with anchoring by Abhikshit Mahajan and Swagata Biswas, followed by an opening speech and the Mangalacharan led by Tushi Dey.
The events included:
1. A speech by Neeladeep Chakraborty Sir on the importance of the Gita, along with recitation of the first and last shlokas.
2. Vandana Kumari (Class VIII-A) chanting the 15th chapter of the Gita.
3. A motivational address by Principal Sir, Ravi Savdeykar.
4. A short video presentation on the importance of the Gita by Priyanka Boruah Didi.
The programme ended with the Shanti Mantra and the National Anthem.
