Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Laipuli, Tinsukia celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great patriotism, discipline, and enthusiasm on 26 January 2026. The programme commenced early in the morning reflecting the spirit of punctuality and commitment among students and teachers.
The celebration began with Pushpanjali followed by Manglacharan, conducted reverently by Kakumoni Didi and Sumita Didi, with guest Su. Revati didi, Joint Secretary VKSPV creating a devotional and solemn atmosphere. This was followed by the Inspection of the Parade by Principal sir and Sanjay sir who encouraged the participants and appreciated their discipline.
The highlight of the programme was the Flag Unfurling, performed by the Principal Sir, followed by the National Anthem, which filled everyone present with a deep sense of pride and national unity. Subsequently, the March Past by the NCC group along with the Band group, guided by Sanjay Sir and Biju Sir, showcased excellent coordination, discipline, and patriotic fervour.
After the march past, there was a speech by Principal Sir which inspired the students by highlighting the significance of Republic Day and the values enshrined in the Constitution of India. This was followed by a melodious Group Song presented by the students, which beautifully reflected love for the nation and cultural harmony.
Following the group song, the Principal Sir shared a deeply moving and enlightening experience from VKV Sadia, recalling the unfortunate incident when VKV Sadia met with a fire accident. He spoke about the courage, unity, and resilience shown by the Vidyalaya family during that challenging time. His words emphasized the core VKV values of selflessness, service, and collective strength in the face of adversity.
The programme continued with a speech by teachers, delivered by Tushi Didi, who motivated the students to uphold national values and strive for excellence in academics and character. The celebration concluded peacefully with Shanti Path, led by Dibyanee Singhal of class XI invoking prayers for peace, harmony, and the well-being of the nation.
The Republic Day celebration concluded at 9:30 a.m., leaving everyone with a renewed sense of patriotism, responsibility, and dedication towards the nation and the ideals of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya.
