The 165th Rabindra Jayanti was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm on 8th May 2026 at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya. The programmes were conducted in the Primary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary Sections.
The celebration began with Mangalacharan, creating a serene atmosphere. Students presented various cultural performances including Rabindra Sangeet, Rabindra Nritya, recitations, speeches, and quiz sessions highlighting the life and contributions of Rabindranath Tagore. Teachers and students actively participated and made the programme vibrant and meaningful.
The programmes concluded with Shanti Path/Shanti Mantra. The celebration reflected the students’ respect for the literary and cultural heritage of Rabindranath Tagore and made the occasion memorable for all.
