A Session With A Genius

BK Aditi Singhal , who is NextGen teacher trainer and a mathematic expert , who holds Guiness Book and Limca Book of World Record for her memory power , visited Vidyalaya today and took a session for the Teachers. A team of people from Prajapita Brahmakumaris Vishwavidyalaya were also present with her. She also donated a book of her for the School Library.

Felicitation

Cherry Gohain Felicitated

A team of teachers visited the residence of cherry Gohain on 27 June. She stood first and topped in the State in arts stream from women's college Tinsukia in Higher Secondary examination 2022 under AHSEC. Cherry is the daughter of Pabin and Mridula Gohain. Books , school diary and Fulam Gamocha is given while felicitating her by the Principal Sri Lakhinarayan Goswami. On 28th of June Cherry visited our Vidyalaya and talked to the students in morning assembly.

International Yoga Day 2022

International Yoga Day was celebrated in our Vidyalaya on 21 st of June, 2022 along  with the whole Nation. Children performed yoga in different groups for Primary, secondary and Sr. Secondary. There was a  PowerPoint presentation on the importance of Yoga was prepared by students of HS section. Song on Yoga philosophy, practical demo and yoga performance, lecture by students and teachers were the main attraction of the day. 

Our teachers were invited as Yoga instructor to various school, colleges, Govt. & Private sector offices and organisation to guide them in performing Yoga and to celebrate this Day. DRM Office, EPFO Office, Makum Ganpatrai school, Commerce College, Hindi English High School, Doomdooma College etc were visited by our students, Yoga Instructors & Kendra Karyakartas to help them observe the day. It ended at evening with a last session on Yoga at our VKV Laipuli campus.

Bishnu Prasad Rabha Diwas

 Vidyalaya Observed the Bishnu Prasad Rabha Diwas on 20 June in the School Assembly

Principal Lakhinarayan Goswami spoke about the importance of the day. 

A speech on life and work of Bishnu Prasad Rabha by teacher Manasi Goswami Didi.

Among different performances children Staged Dance, Song, Recitation along with a Song by Teacher Ranjit Muktiar.

 A Power Point Presentation by the students of class IX focused on different works by Bishnu Rabha.

The Vidyarambha Ceremony For Class XI 2022-23

The Vidyarambha Ceremony for Class XI (Sc., Comm, Humanities) was held on 14th of June 2022, at Yoga-Vidya Sabhagriha. In this connection Dr Arnab Paul a cardiologist and an alumni of the Vidyalaya was present as guest and spoke to the children to inspire them. He cherished his 14 years association with School as a student since his nursery days. Principal Lakhinarayan Goswami sir spoke to the students and guided them about studies and other aspects. Teacher Banani didi sung a patriotic song. Students offered flower to Goddess Saraswati as pushpanjali followed by Prasadam. The programme was conducted by Teacher Pranab Kr. Saikia sir.

World Environment Day 2022

Vidyalaya celebrated World Environment Day on 6th June in the school premises in collaboration with Prajapita Brahmakumaris Vishwavidyalaya. Sister Shivani and 3 members from the organization were present and spoken about the inner peace and world peace & environment. Students presented group songs, ppt presentation etc in the programme. Principal Sri Lakhinarayan Goswami sir delivered the welcome speech. 

Plantation in campus, Shramadaan by students for cleaning the surroundings , drawing competition in Balsabha were also observed to mark the day.

Padmashree Jadav Payeng, The Forest Man of the World visited our campus and took part in the 3rd Anniversary of Vivekananda Kendra Swasthya seva Sadan, organised on 5th June. 

A short program was conducted during assembly . Purpose of the day was spoken by respected Principal sir, which was followed by Arpita didi said on importance of the day. It was followed by a group song by students of class VII, a poem recitation by Akansha Aich of class VIII C, a speech by Aditya Prasad of class VII A. The most appealing part of the program was a self composed peom recited by Priyadarshan Goswami of class VI A
