Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tinsukia observed Kalpataru Diwas on 1st January 2026 with great reverence, devotion, and spiritual fervour across all its units, including the Primary Section, Secondary & Senior Secondary Section, Nau Pukhri Unit, and Chabua Unit.
Primary Section
The Kalpataru Diwas programme in the Primary Section began with anchoring by Purbasha Didi, who beautifully explained the spiritual significance of the day, setting a reflective tone for the programme. This was followed by a Manglacharan, invoking divine blessings and creating a serene and devotional atmosphere.
An insightful speech was delivered by Kakoli Didi, who highlighted the importance of Kalpataru Diwas and inspired the young students by sharing the noble ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, emphasizing values such as self-belief, service to humanity, and spirituality.
To deepen the students’ understanding, a PPT presentation was shown, depicting the life, teachings, and message of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa in a simple and meaningful manner. The programme was further enriched by a melodious bhajan, “Jai Jai Ramkrishna Sharanam,” sung by Kakoli Didi along with the students, filling the atmosphere with devotion.
The celebration concluded with a peaceful Shanti Path, praying for peace, harmony, and spiritual strength for all.
Secondary & Senior Secondary Section
The Secondary and Senior Secondary Section observed Kalpataru Diwas in a progressive manner. The programme commenced with Manglacharan, followed by an enlightening speech delivered by Ananya Didi, highlighting the spiritual relevance of the day. A PPT presentation presented by Neildeep Sir further elaborated on the life and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, encouraging students to reflect upon his timeless ideals.
Nau Pukhri and Chabua Units
The Kalpataru Diwas programme in the Primary Section with equal devotion and enthusiasm. Notably, the VKV Chabua Unit organized a quiz competition for the small children, making the celebration interactive and educational while helping students learn about the significance of the day in an engaging manner.
The observance of Kalpataru Diwas across all units of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tinsukia was a spiritually enriching experience.
