First Aid Workshop for Students

 First Aid workshop was conducted in the school on 18 June 2018. Two Boys and Girls were selected from each section starting from class I to class XII. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ratul Das who is associated with Vivekananda kendra ArunJyoti. He demostrated various steps on how to provide first-aid in the preliminary stage of a case a student hurts. He also spoke on personal cleanliness. At last an interactive session was there where the children got the chance to clear their queries on various aspects of first-aid.

Sneha Sammelon for Parents

A Sneha Sammelan was organised in the School for the parents of KG students on June. The programme started with Mangalacharan. Principal Sri Guru Charan  Das Sir spoke about the purpose of the day followed by a Geet session. After that NeeladeepSir spoke about the topic "SWAMI VIVEKANANDA OUR ROLE MODEL". A games session was conducted by SukantaSir where the parents enjoyed a lot. A group discussion was held on the topic "HOW I SEE MY CHILD IN VKV TINSUKIA" followed by group presentation. At last there was a discussion session with KG teachers in their respective class rooms.

Seminar on Animation & 3D Graphics

On 6^th June 2018, the Vidyalaya hosted an hour long seminar on Animation and graphics technology where students of Class IX, XI and XII were participated. The programme was conducted by MAAC, Kolkata. MAAC Salt lake is an Animation, VFX and Multimedia training Institute headed by a Board of Directors. Atanu Moitra, a Retd. Indian Naval Officer and director of the institutions, delivered a presentation in the seminar. The Institute has a team of Mentors and other departmental members who are called the Squad. Suman Mondal is one of those Squad Members who is leading the 3D Animation and Production Department at MAAC Salt lake, Kolkata. Both Mr Moitra and Mondal was the resource persons in the seminar. Career and working of Animation were shown and discussed the event. Total 200 students and 6/7 teachers were present in the programme.
