Saraswati Puja and Netaji Jayanti Observation

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Laipuli, Tinsukia observed Saraswati Puja and Netaji Jayanti with great devotion, reverence, and patriotic fervour on 23rd January 2026 (Friday). The programme created a harmonious blend of spiritual upliftment and national pride, involving enthusiastic participation from students and staff of both the primary and senior sections.

The celebration of Saraswati Puja filled the Vidyalaya campus with a serene and divine atmosphere. Students came dressed in traditional attire and participated wholeheartedly in the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge, wisdom, and learning. The puja was conducted with due rituals by the Panditji, followed by the Aarti of Maa Saraswati. Melodious bhajans were sung by the students and bhajan group, enhancing the spiritual ambience of the programme. The students also offered Pushpanjali with deep devotion and reverence. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prasad among all present.

Along with Saraswati Puja, the Vidyalaya also observed Netaji Jayanti to pay homage to the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. On this occasion, a meaningful speech highlighting the life, ideals, and sacrifices of Netaji was delivered by Simmi Didi, inspiring the students to imbibe values of courage, discipline, and patriotism. This was followed by a soulful patriotic song presented by Ananya Didi, which filled the audience with a sense of national pride. To further enrich the observance, Ayan Sir presented an informative video showcasing the life, struggles, and invaluable contributions of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to the nation.
The programme successfully instilled reverence for knowledge, cultural values, and love for the nation, leaving a lasting impression on the minds of the students and staff of VKV Laipuli, Tinsukia.
